Mrs. Murphy's Kitchen

Cooking Classes for Adults

In our busy adult lives, cooking can often feel like a chore, especially if we have run out of ideas on what to prepare.  And sometimes we are reluctant to try a new recipe out of fear of failure.  Rid yourself of the stress and the fear and add the enjoyment of cooking back in; come and enjoy an afternoon or evening learning new recipes, chatting with friends or meeting new, hearing helpful hints, sharing cooking catastrophes (we all have them) and just plain having fun!

When you arrive, be prepared to enjoy an evening of good food, good conversation and relaxation in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  The cost of each class is $40.00. Payment is due at the time you sign up for a class and a 24 hour cancellation notice is required.  You may sign up for as many classes as you would like. Most classes will be held on Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 and ending at 9:00. All classes will be held at Mrs. Murphy's Kitchen, 160 Old Post Road, York, Maine. Class size is limited to 12 students.  To register for a class or for more information, please call Sue Murphy at (207) 363-4217.

I hope you can join us here at Mrs. Murphy's Kitchen.  It's not just a cooking class; it's a cooking experience!

Testimonials

"Very fun - great evening out with friends.  Love the way everything was set up.  Not intimidating, so a person who doesn't do a lot of cooking would feel at ease.  You're a great instructor!   This would make a great birthday or Christmas gift for a good friend - do gift certificates!" ~ Chris

"I was partial to the black bean tortilla dish and the dessert.  The atmosphere was delightful.  Sue, you were very patient and kind.  You will definitely be a hit with adult cooking classes." ~ Pat

My two favorite dishes were the apple granola burritos and the black bean cups.  The class was fun and such a great thing to look forward to sitting down and enjoying!  Great Job!" ~ Karen
